'Coral Palette' Oil painting on Birch Wood

'Coral Palette'

Over the past few years, I’ve found comfort and focus in playing puzzle games. What began as a simple pastime gradually became an important part of maintaining my mental wellbeing — a way to quiet my mind and find calm through colour, order, and problem-solving.

This experience became the starting point for a new series of paintings. Translating that sense of calm and absorption into my own practice, I began exploring how colour, shape, and rhythm could mirror the mindful state that puzzles create. In painting, I found an opportunity to “make the colours my own” — to transform that feeling of focus and restoration into visual form.

An original Oil and Acrylic painting on Birchwood.

21cm x 29.7cm
